The meeting of the Committee of the manufacturing industry was held at the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken". Deputy Head of the Board of NCE RK Nurzhan Altaev introduced the newly elected chairman of the committee Duman Kydyrbaeva, who heads the Association of the organizations of the forestry sector and timber processing of Kazakhstan "Zhasyl Orman." Altaev also outlined the main issues on which will focus the work of the committee.
"This year we plan to work hard to make our Kazakhstani enterprises to buy goods from each other. Today, we see that while we require from the state bodies, national companies, subsoil users to buy Kazakhstani goods, the enterprises themselves sometimes purchase all imported. In a moment of crisis we need to work on that ", - he said.
Altaev cited the example of the Russian Federation, where the companies before going shopping online, join in consortia. "Firstly, it is easier to negotiate, and secondly, there are certain volumes. Now we seriously took up the commercial networks, distribution companies. Just two weeks ago we had a big conversation with them. Food industry workers, farmers - producers were present at the meeting, those who can’t get their goods to the shopping networks. There was held a very good conversation, the parties reached certain agreements. The meeting offered on the basis of NCE to create a platform on which they could sign contracts. This work is now ongoing", - he said.
The deputy chairman of the Chamber drew the attention of the Committee to issue of the lack of qualified personnel. "This is a painful question, in all the regions. NCE will be a platform. If any association or an enterprise wishes to patronage some colleges, we are ready to address this issue at the level of the Government ", - he said.
In matters of removing administrative barriers, according Altaev, we need to conduct spot work with each association.
He noted that the Committee’s work plan is ready.
Duman Kydyrbaev agreed that today there are a lot of problems to be solved in the manufacturing industry of Kazakhstan. "The main question for all of us - it is workload of enterprises. We, the manufacturers, virtually are not the masters at our own market. If you give an example of the light industry, the share of consumption of light industrial products produced by our enterprises, is only 14-15%. Furniture - less than 30%. And this situation is almost in all industries", - he said.
Head of the Committee said that this year the association, together with the Chamber to address these issues. "Some enterprises have good indicators. For example, the union of enterprises of light industry, succeeded in obtaining the state defense order, and already this year, 22 companies have received orders. Enterprises making school uniforms also achieved success", - he said.
