Residents of the region have received the first loans from the LLP "Microfinance organization "Atameken Kostanay". Currently, 20 applications in the amount of 96 million tenge were approved, another 28 are under consideration.

The first three loans, totaling 24.69 million tenge, received residents of Taranovskiy, Fedorovsk and Karabalyk districts. The money is provided for the purchase of agricultural machinery, as well as the construction of a warehouse for the storage of finished products.

"The borrowers have different ideas. Loans in the agriculture sector are taken for the purchase of cattle and equipment. There are projects of opening a meat shop and workshop for the production of semi-finished products. There were applications for loans for the purchase of equipment for glass processing and manufacturing of charcoal. Someone plans to acquire a front loader and so on. The credit committee considers applications, the money shall be issued immediately after registration of the mortgage contract. We continue to receive requests from the population", - says the director of "Microfinance organization "Atameken Kostanay" Zhamal Atzhanov.

In March 2016 NCE RK "Atameken", the Eurasian Group (ERG) and Akimat of Kostanay region have signed a memorandum, which envisages the creation of MFO for lending to population on privileged terms. Borrowers may be eligible for a credit of up to 15 million tenge, without interest, a commission of 4% on the issued amount.
